Where nonsense, geekery, and sometimes real life abound.
Another fine Fanime this year. Unfortunately, it was hampered by the ongoing construction at the convention center. Long lines were brought over from last year, especially in the registration line. It was still a great weekend though: tons of events, great time seeing friends, good cosplays everywhere. Highlights include
It’s FanimeCon time again! I’ll be attending the full weekend. The following is a list of the cosplays I’ll be wearing on which days. If anyone recognizes me, please say hi! New con friends are always adored.
Cyril Figgis - Archer
The Green Lantern (Alan Scott) - DC Comics
Braeburn - My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic
Booker DeWitt - Bioshock Infinite
Geeky civvies, possibly one of the new shirts I’ll buy at the convention.
See you all there!
Well I just got back from Animation on Display and it was as good as I remembered it last year. Originally, my plan was to go to WonderCon, but then they decided to stay in SoCal for another year, the bastards. So, I came up to SF, spent the night with friends and got two cosplays finished just for the weekend. Now, I must finish homework and get some decent sleep tonight.
Less than 4 months til FanimeCon. I’ve already got my hotel room set up and the ticket is gonna be the next step. I’m still working on my cosplays for it, but at least I have a pretty finalized list. I’m just glad the new administration got their shit together this year what with this year’s construction and the clusterfuck of last year’s 3+ hour badge line wait. But will this early show of good planning foretell a fantastic FanimeCon ‘13?
Please feel free to if you ever recognize me at a Bay Area con. ^^
SUPERNATURAL FANS MUST STOP STEALING ALL THE SALT FROM THE KITCHENS
Christ, I remember seeing this at Fanime. It was definitely one of the more memorable parts of that year’s con. Not to mention an epic and clever example of trolling. X3
